RjB Biography

   Born in the inner city of Washington, D.C., it was clear at an early age that Ron J. Brown was destined to become an entertainer and vocalist. Ron J. Brown is an urban gospel artist, songwriter and producer with a background and experience in Go-Go and R&B music as well as an inspirational speaker.

Currently Ron is celebrating the recent release of his debut Prophetic CD which is titled "Godality- Live & Prophetic".  Ron runs his own gospel recording studio called "God Logic Gospel Entertainment" which is located in Spotsylvania, Virginia.  Ron J. Brown truly desires to minstrel of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Ever since the age of eight Ron J. Brown’s musical and vocal gifts began to be developed which afforded him many opportunities to perform musically with formal training in voice and bass guitar. 

Ron J. Brown is looking to get pertinent exposure and to connect with the appropriate industry professionals such as:  Management to secure a management deal, a booking agent that is able to book ministry engagements, concerts and events for me locally and ultimately on a “national level, and I am also looking to get a record deal with a record label, as a gospel artist, which would include am A&R Rep, and media contacts in order to be heard by the gospel music community on local and national levels, and to bring glory to the Lord, as a minister and gospel music artist.  Ron has strong compassion for being used by the Spirit of the Lord to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation, deliverance and healing!  Ron J. Brown’s debut CD "Godality- Live & Prophetic" is being sold at online CD vendors such as: CDbaby, Snocap and Amazon.com, that promote his debut Prophetic CD "Godality- Live & Prophetic".

Ron writes and produces his own gospel music and also record his own lead and background vocals.   Ever since the age of eight Ron's musical and vocal gifts began to be developed, affording him many opportunities to perform- with formal training in voice and bass guitar. Ron attended Georgetown's "Levin School of Music" which is located in Washington, DC. At the age of 13, Ron J. Brown joined The Silvertones Gospel Singers of Kensington, Maryland as the bass guitar player for the group and performed in various states along the east coast.  In 1995, Ron sang one of his first original compositions "God Is Coming Back Soon" at a talent showcase at Howard University’s Blackburn Center hosted by Howard University, where he had the entire place on their feet in standing ovation. After a stunning performance and being one of the winners of the talent showcase at Howard, Ron was sent to be a contestant at the famous Apollo Theater.  In 1997, while in discipleship training for ministry Ron was a: praise, worship, and youth leader for a music ministry out of Rock Church International of Virginia Beach, Virginia called “One Tribe”.   

In 1998 Ron J. Brown was called on by church leaders to minister in song, before some 5,000 attendees as he opened for Gospel Hall of Fame Artist- Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ.  Since that time Ron J. Brown has shared the stage and platform with notable ministries such as:  Bishop John Gimenez, Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Joyce Meyers, Wellington Boone and Pastor Benny Hinn. As a songwriter, arranger, and producer, Ron J. Brown earned opportunities in working with various artists in: musical, dramatic, live performance and studio projects.  Ron states, “I am in awe at being given the opportunity to give God glory and to be used to not only touch lives but to also be used by the Holy Spirit of the Lord to transform lives that are hurting and to encourage those who feel that there is no way out of the issues of life that we all face every day. - Ron J. Ron says that he is person that a prime example of God's mercy at work in a person's life. Ron has had such of a profound experience in life due to physical sickness which stemmed from a defect in his heart, depression and drug addiction, and he didn't think that he would ever be free, let alone "saved" from the hell that he lived in for years but! "God", saved him and today Minister & Urban Gospel Artist Ron j. Brown is being used by God to challenge many to be better people and greater believers and he presses on to be used to encourage people to hang in there because "help is on the way!"  Those that have already started purchasing the CD, most of which are people that are struggling with sickness, etc; have sent back praise reports that the CD is a tremendous blessing to them, as well as a powerful point of contact that agrees with them for their healing to take place in their lives!  This particular CD project provokes deliverance & healing and is uplifting, soul stirring and penetrating.   

Ron J. Brown possesses honesty and candor, and it's that openness that sets Ron apart from his musical peers. Because of the hardships he has endured and the hurdles he has had to jump, Ron brings a special intimacy and determination to whatever he writes and sings. This is apparent on his debut prophetic solo album, Godality - Live & Prophetic" (God Logic Gospel Entertainment), a project that has been a long time in the making for this former secular R&B songwriter/ artist who has weathered many personal and ministerial storms to bring the Body of Christ as well as world this special collection of urban styled gospel music. Ron J. Brown is currently in production to record a CD that is solely geared toward healing which will be aptly named "The Healing CD", in the Spring of 2008.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

I am looking to secure a management deal, record deal or a booking agent to book engagements and events for me locally and ultimately “nationally”! I hope and pray that presentation package is sufficient enough to reach the desired dimensions that God ordained for me to reach, and prayerfully my press kit meets the guidelines for which is required in order for industry pros to make an informed decision about whether or not they can help me.   Of course, in addition to my biography, my press kit includes:  Promotional Picture (promo shot), Fact sheet, Quote sheet, Preview CD of Demo, four (4) song Compact Disc (CD) Demo, Lyric sheets (two-2 for each song), Business card and a one (1) song video of one of my performances.   Again! I am a Gospel Artist/ Songwriter/ Producer, and have been in ministry for about seven (12) years.  I currently have a drawing of about 275 people that attend my ministry performances locally.
